Slurpuff is a canine-like creature who seems to have an appearance of a cupcake. With pink fur and hot pink hair, Slurpuff is the embodiment of a dessert, rivaled only by Vanilluxe in terms of sweetness.
Being a dog, it has an acute sense of smell, being able to distinguish the faintest of scents, giving pastry chefs an incentive to keep them around. This scent is approximated to be about 100 million times better than a human's, allowing it to essentially see through its nose.
Defense[]
Slurpuff's sense of smell allows it to make out who is a predator or not, giving it time to escape before the prey closes in. Things regarding scent and defense are mostly emphasized in Slurpuff's case, possibly allowing it to distract enemies that draw near for the getaway. Moves like Cotton Spore and Safeguard give it a safe protection, meaning Slurpuff may not enjoy fighting in general.

Belly Drum
Description
This is often seen the Belly Drum Azumarill of RU, as both sets contain Belly Drum and Play Rough. However, I say that this set is absolutely different in regards to the effect in the battle. You see Belly Drum halves your HP and trades it for a +6 Attack boost. At this HP range, you consume your Sitrus Berry. However, Slurpuff's ability, Unburden, doubles your Speed after you consume your item. This means that if you successfully pull off a Belly Drum, you should be left with 75% HP, +6 Attack, and +2 Speed. That's insane. Unfortunately, Slurpuff's small Physical movepool detracts from the overall usefulness of this set. However, after eliminating Steel-types, Slurpuff is free to sweep.
Play Rough is your best Physical STAB, and great Physical STAB at that. Return, unfortunately, is your only other Physical move. However, it does take many things Play Rough can't, like Poison-types and Fire-types. Substitute can be a bit of a safety blanket if you're bad at predicting, but Flamethrower takes weakened Steel-types who would normally wall this set.
I'm copying Serebii's idea here and showing calcs to show the power of a successful Belly Drum:
+6 252+ Atk Slurpuff Play Rough vs.
252 HP / 252+ Def Drapion: 313-370 (90.9 - 107.5%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock
Yeah, so pretty much nothing can safely switch into Slurpuff and outspeed it at the same time.

Calm Mind
Description
Quite a few choices here. Slurpuff can learn a lot of moves, all of which handle the RU environment rather well. Calm Mind is the biggest thing here. Without it, you're only hitting at the base Special Attack of 85 the entire time, which isn't too impressive. Red Card is an interesting item, as it can pHaze Pokemon while giving you the Unburden boost. If you are boosted with Calm Mind, you can start sweeping from there.
Dazzling Gleam is your best Special STAB, unfortunately. No Moon Blast. Sorry. Flamethrower takes Steels and Psychic takes Poisons. Simple as that. However, Draining Kiss, although weak, keeps you healthy. Energy Ball makes short work of threats like Gastrodon, Barbaracle, and Rhyperior rather well, and Surf takes Rhyperior and Fire-types as well.
